- The Lagunero team trained this morning at Territorio Santos Modelo, focusing on their football preparation ahead of the match against Pachuca.

- The Warriors will train tomorrow morning, continuing their preparation for the game against the Tuzos.

- The trip to Pachuca will take place on Friday afternoon.

Looking ahead to the match against Pachuca, midfielder Fran Villalba shared his perspective on the current state of the verdiblanco team, highlighting their intensity and determination to earn as many points as possible in the final stretch of the tournament.

The verdiblanco player assured that the group remains focused on finishing the competition in the best possible way:

“We are working with great intensity, determined to earn as many points as possible from the four remaining matches and finish the tournament in the best way, fighting to secure all 12 points.”

Regarding the next opponent, Villalba acknowledged the quality of the Tuzos, as well as the challenge of facing them at the Estadio Hidalgo:

“Honestly, Pachuca is a great team; they have a lot of talent and very good players in their offense. Playing at their stadium is challenging because of the altitude. We need to keep doing what we’ve shown in recent weeks: being a competitive, aggressive team that presses high and, when we have the ball, tries to create damage.”

As for the team's performance, the midfielder highlighted their adaptation to the recent system:

“We’ve been feeling much better with the diamond formation. Personally, I prefer playing in that position. The team has looked good, especially with the ball; we feel comfortable with the high press, something that has been evident in recent matches.”

Finally, Villalba spoke about his individual form, noting that he has regained the confidence to contribute to the team:

“I started the tournament quite well based on the numbers; then I faded a bit, but now I’ve regained the confidence I need as a player to help the team more. I feel really good.”
