The First Team of Santos Laguna resumed their training this Tuesday at Territorio Santos Modelo, preparing for their next match in the Apertura 2026 Tournament, where they will visit Puebla FC in a game corresponding to Matchday 5.
The Warriors, led by Renato Paiva, will work throughout the week focusing on finalizing the details ahead of the match against La Franja, which will take place this Saturday at 7:00 PM at the Estadio Cuauhtémoc.
During the session, which began in the gym with strength training, the albiverde team continued on the field with an activation that included acceleration, deceleration, and high-speed drills, followed by a possession exercise with transitions.
Subsequently, the squad carried out a small-sided game and concluded the practice with an activity focused on various finishing scenarios.
The Santos team will return to training this Wednesday morning at their headquarters, continuing their preparation for the match in Puebla territory.
GUERRERA ACADEMY ACTIVITY
The Santos Laguna Under-19 and Under-21 teams are also focused on their respective matches against Puebla FC, corresponding to Matchday 5 of the Apertura 2026 Tournament.
Santos Laguna Under-19 will aim to secure three points in their visit to La Franja, with the goal of staying in contention for playoff spots.
Meanwhile, the Under-21 Warriors will seek another victory to continue climbing the standings and remain among the top positions on the table.
Both matches will take place this Saturday at the Club Alpha 3 facilities in the capital of Puebla. The Under-21 Warriors will play at 9:00 AM, while the Under-19 team will take the field at 11:30 AM.
