Santos Laguna celebrated its 43rd Anniversary with a comeback at the Estadio Corona, defeating FC Juárez 2-1 in a match corresponding to the 8th round of the Apertura 2026 Tournament.

On a special night for the institution and its fans, the Warriors came from behind to secure three points, with goals from Ezequiel Bullaude and Esteban Lozano in the second half.

The match began with an intense pace and dangerous actions in both areas. During the opening minutes, Carlos Acevedo intervened on a couple of occasions to keep his goal untouched.

At the 33rd minute, Emmanuel Echeverría entered the field, replacing Efraín Orona.

Near the end of the first half, Diego González managed to send the ball into the back of the net; however, the goal was disallowed due to an offside.

At the start of the second half, FC Juárez took the lead from the penalty spot, courtesy of Óscar Estupiñán.

Minutes later, Esteban Lozano entered the field, replacing Eduardo “El Mudo” Aguirre.

The team led by Renato Paiva increased their offensive presence and continued searching for the equalizer, which came in the 64th minute. Mauricio Cuevas sent a cross from the right side, and Ezequiel Bullaude appeared to connect with a header and make it 1-1.

The comeback was completed in the 79th minute. Bullaude was once again the protagonist, this time as an assistant, setting up Esteban Lozano, who finished brilliantly to score his first goal with Santos Laguna and give the Warriors the definitive lead.

At the 82nd minute, Javier Güémez, Ramiro Sordo, and Luis Ángel Gómez entered the match, replacing Fran Villalba, Diego González, and Kevin Palacios, respectively.

In the final moments of the game, Franco Pardo had the opportunity to extend the lead from the penalty spot, but his attempt did not result in a goal.

With the support of the Warrior Fans from the stands of the Estadio Corona, Santos Laguna secured the three points and celebrated a special night in the framework of its 43rd Anniversary.
