"THE SUPPORT OF THE FANS DRIVES US A LOT": FRANCO PARDO

•    The captain of the Warriors highlighted the support of the Warrior Fans at the Corona Stadium ahead of the match against Necaxa.
•    The Warriors will train tomorrow morning at TSM, continuing their preparation for the match against the team from Aguascalientes.

The defender and captain of Santos Laguna, Franco Pardo, emphasized the importance of the support from the Warrior Fans at the Corona Stadium ahead of the match against Necaxa, corresponding to matchday 15 of the 2026 Apertura Tournament.

The Argentine defender acknowledged the constant support of the green-and-white fans during home games and noted that their backing represents a significant boost for the team:

“They have been with us in every game we’ve played at home, so it won’t be a surprise to see the Corona Stadium full this weekend. We know their support will be very important, and we are confident that we will repay that encouragement with three points.”

Additionally, Pardo highlighted the influence of the atmosphere created by the Warrior Fans at the Corona Stadium and the value it holds for the players on the field:

“It always makes a difference. We know their support drives us a lot, and we are very happy about that because we are also doing things well on the field. I think it’s well-deserved for everyone.”

Regarding the sporting outlook, the Santos captain acknowledged the challenges posed by the end of the tournament, where several teams are still vying for qualification:

“We knew that these last few matchdays would demand a lot from us in terms of results. There are many teams fighting for a few spots, so we have to show up on Sunday, put in a good performance, and try to win to fully get into the fight for the playoffs.”

Finally, the defender emphasized that Santos Laguna must face the match against Necaxa with the same determination they have shown in their recent games, aware that every match represents an important opportunity in the final stretch of the championship:

“I think all matches are tough, and there’s always something at stake. Even if a team isn’t in the playoff zone, they also want to finish the tournament well and climb as high as possible in the standings. We’re all playing for something, so we hope to be protagonists, as we have been in recent matches, and secure the three points.”
