Santos Laguna Femenil is ready to welcome young female footballers to Territorio Santos Modelo who are seeking an opportunity to join the Cantera Guerrera, with an open tryout scheduled for this Friday.

The tryout will take place on Friday, June 5, at 3:30 PM on Field 2 of Territorio Santos Modelo and is aimed at players born in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.

To attend these tryouts, it is necessary to present a signed liability waiver, a copy of the parent or guardian's ID, a hydration bottle, and wear white sportswear, with shin guards being mandatory. It is worth noting that footballers who have emerged from the Cantera Guerrera have successfully completed their training process and reached the First Team. Such is the case of Yessenia Novella, a midfielder from the Comarca Lagunera, who debuted with the Guerreras in March 2023 at the age of 17 after four tournaments in developmental categories.

In the recent Clausura 2026, Novella was an important part of coach Jhonathan Lazcano's system, playing in all 15 matches of the tournament and accumulating 1,063 minutes of play, in addition to contributing one goal and four assists.
