The Santos Laguna football players, Tahiel Jiménez, Geovanni Pérez, and Luis Ángel Gómez, were called up by the Mexico U-23 National Team to join the squad that will embark on a preparation tour in South Korea during the month of November.

The three Warriors were active this Friday in the match against Atlante. Geovanni Pérez started as a starter, while Tahiel Jiménez and Luis Ángel Gómez came on as substitutes. Tahiel stood out by scoring the opening goal of the match, reaching six goals in the tournament.

The Mexican team will play two preparation matches against their South Korean counterparts, scheduled for November 14 and 17, in the city of Cheonan.

This tour is part of the national team's preparation process for the 2027 Pan American Games, which will be held in Peru.
