SARINA VILLA, EXCITED TO DEBUT AS A GUERRERA AT THE CORONA STADIUM

After her participation with the El Salvador National Team in the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026, defender Sarina Villa is back with the Guerreras and aims to have her first official minutes with the verdiblanco team this Monday against Rayadas, during matchday 3 of the Apertura 2026 Tournament.

The defender had an outstanding performance in the tournament, starting all five matches for El Salvador and winning the bronze medal after her team defeated Venezuela 2-1 in the third-place match.

For Sarina, this experience also represented an important step in her professional development, as she earned a medal in her first appearance with the El Salvador Senior National Team.

“It was a great honor to be in the Central American and Caribbean Games. Wearing the Selecta jersey is always a great opportunity where I strive to grow, knowing that I am playing for an entire country. Being able to win a medal for my people and my family was very meaningful to me.”
