Santos Laguna U-19 lost their unbeaten record in the Apertura 2026 Tournament after falling 3-2 to Chivas in a match corresponding to round 4 of the competition, held this morning at the Territorio Santos Modelo facilities.

The Warriors showed determination and fought until the end of the match. The goals for the albiverde team were scored by midfielder Ángel Rivera, who found the net in the 9th minute, and forward Justin Chávez, who secured the second Santos goal in the 90th minute.

With this result, the team led by Jorge Campos remains with five points in the standings.

Santos Laguna U-19 will return to action next Saturday, August 22, when they visit Puebla FC in a match corresponding to round 5 of the Apertura 2026.
