With an eye on the 2026 Apertura Tournament, Santos Laguna Femenil adds six players who will perform in different areas of the field, arriving with commitment and the firm conviction to demonstrate the Guerrero DNA in this new adventure.

The new Guerreras are already integrated into the verdiblanca preseason and are working under the orders of coach Jhonathan Lazcano.

Gineva López Villaseñor

Known as "Gina," she was born on September 14, 2007, in Modesto, California, and plays as a central defender. She began her career in León's U-19 category and later joined Mazatlán FC. At the National Team level, she has been called up to the U-17 team.

Carol Fernanda Soto Díaz

Originally from Liberal, Kansas, she was born on May 19, 2003, and plays as a right-back. She has experience in Liga MX Femenil, having been part of Pumas during the 2025 Apertura Tournament. Additionally, she has been called up to the Mexican U-23 National Team.

Karen Lucía de León Pescador

Born on August 26, 1999, in Durango, Karen plays as a defensive midfielder. She debuted in Liga MX Femenil with León in 2017 and later defended Necaxa's colors for seven years, consolidating an important career in Mexican soccer.

Ahtziri Méndez Munguía

Originally from Mérida, Yucatán, she was born on January 24, 2004, and plays as a winger. She debuted in Liga MX Femenil with Toluca FC in the 2023 Clausura Tournament. Throughout her career, she has also been part of León, Pumas, Puebla, and Necaxa, accumulating extensive experience.

Ivonne Areli González Rendón

Born on October 10, 2005, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Ivonne plays as a right winger. She completed her formative process with Chivas, an institution where she remained for a decade and made her professional debut in 2023. She has represented Mexico in the U-20 and U-23 categories, highlighting her participation in the Pre-World Cup and the 2024 U-20 Women's World Cup.

Ariatna Michelle Dorantes González

Originally from Mexico City, she was born on March 11, 2003, and plays as a forward. Her most recent stage in Liga MX Femenil was with Pumas, an institution she belonged to during the 2025 Apertura and 2026 Clausura tournaments. She was also part of the Mexican U-15 National Team.
