With the aim of promoting sports as a tool for integration and community development, Orlegi Sports and Club Santos Laguna organized an activity this Friday involving interaction between First Team football players and vulnerable children from the Baltimore, Maryland community.

The initiative aimed to promote sports as a tool for development and inclusion, creating a space for interaction where participants engaged in various recreational and football-related activities with members of the albiverde team.

The activity took place after the team's morning practice, which was the second-to-last training session before the friendly match against NY Cosmos, and included the participation of players from the Lagunero squad.

The event also featured the participation of the Coppermine staff, a leading organization in the development of sports and recreational programs in Maryland, whose mission is to expand access to sports and create growth opportunities for children and youth through safe, inclusive, and educational spaces.

This initiative is part of the efforts of Guerreros de Coraz贸n and Ganar Sirviendo, reflecting the commitment of Santos Laguna and Orlegi Sports to generate a positive impact in communities through sports, promoting values such as teamwork, respect, discipline, and healthy interaction.

Through initiatives like this, Santos Laguna seeks to strengthen its bond with the communities it visits, bringing football and its values closer to different sectors of society, using the sport as a vehicle for integration and social transformation.

This activity is part of the strategic alliance between Orlegi Sports and Coppermine, a collaboration that fosters the exchange of knowledge, talent development, and the creation of socially valuable experiences both on and off the field.

The Warriors will continue their preparation this Saturday in the morning and subsequently, on Sunday, will play their third friendly match of the preseason.
