For their performance in Santos Laguna's win over Club Querétaro, the players Mauricio Cuevas and Tahiel Jiménez, as well as coach Renato Paiva, were included in the Best XI of matchday 12 of the Apertura 2026 Tournament.

The albiverde full-back contributed to the result by assisting Eduardo Aguirre in the second goal of the Guerreros, reaching four goal contributions in the tournament.
