Santos Laguna U-19 took an important step in the Liguilla of the Clausura 2026 Tournament by defeating Puebla FC 4-1 in the first leg of the Quarterfinals, held this morning on Field 2 of the High-Performance Center at Territorio Santos Modelo.

The verdiblanco team showed decisiveness from the early minutes of the match, taking the lead with a goal by Alex "El Pez" Valencia in the 10th minute. Subsequently, Ángel Rivera extended the lead in the 23rd minute, while Valencia himself scored his second goal in the 38th minute, followed by Axel Gaytán in the 42nd minute.

Before that, the visiting team had narrowed the gap in the 37th minute.

With this result, the Warriors will head into the second leg with an advantage, which will be played this Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the Club Alpha 3 facilities.
