The 13th edition of Guerretón, presented by Soriana, once again reflected the commitment and solidarity of the Lagunera community, surpassing the collection goal of the previous edition and establishing itself as one of the most impactful social initiatives promoted by Club Santos Laguna through Guerreros de Corazón.

On this occasion, thanks to the participation of fans, sponsors, allies, and business partners, a total of 4,472 toys and stuffed animals were collected, including those gathered during the traditional toy rain at the Estadio Corona, held during halftime of the match against Rayados, and donations made beforehand.

This figure adds to the more than 121,500 toys, stuffed animals, and balls collected in the 12 previous editions, reaffirming the growth and reach of this initiative, whose goal is to bring joy to children in vulnerable situations in the Comarca Lagunera.

Beyond the collection, Guerretón continues to evolve as a platform for social impact. Since 2024, it has incorporated a financial fundraising component that has enabled the installation of playrooms in various parts of the region, promoting the right to play and learn in safe spaces. To date, four playrooms have been installed, directly benefiting Lagunera children.

Additionally, the resources generated in this edition will contribute to the development of the Polígono Ábaco project, focused on equipping a kitchen in a kindergarten located in a vulnerable area, strengthening the nutrition and well-being of its beneficiaries.

In the coming days, the distribution of the collected toys will begin, as part of the celebration of Children's Day. To date, various associations and institutions in the region have been benefited, including CRIT Durango, municipal DIF systems, the Instituto Mano Amiga, the Instituto Hermanos Martín Borque, the Instituto Lagunero de Audición y Lenguaje, Cáritas de Gómez Palacio, Ciudad de los Niños, and the Banco de Alimentos de Torreón, among others.
