Santos Laguna U-19 played the first leg of the Final of the Clausura 2026 Tournament, suffering a setback against Xolos with a score of 3-1 on the field of the Estadio Caliente.

The goals for the border team were scored by Jesús Orduño, Martín Bonilla, and Alberto Castillo, who found the net in the 8th, 45th, and 59th minutes, respectively.

The goal that brought the Verdiblancos closer and keeps their hopes alive came in the 68th minute, after a set-piece play in which, following a rebound inside the area, José Sotelo appeared to score a crucial goal.

In this way, the U-19 Warriors will rely on their home strength to seek a comeback this Sunday at 11:00 a.m., when they host Tijuana on the field of the Corona Stadium in the decisive match of the series.

It is worth mentioning that the Santos team showed solidity at home during the regular phase, recording five wins, one draw, and two losses, in addition to scoring 20 goals in their home territory.
