As part of the Guerret贸n 2026, the Guerreros convincingly defeated Rayados with a 3-0 scoreline during matchday 17 of the 2026 Clausura Tournament, this afternoon at Estadio Corona.

The first dangerous play for the Guerreros came in the 6th minute, from the feet of Lucas di Yorio. The forward controlled the ball correctly with his right foot at the edge of the box and shot slightly wide of the Rayados' goal.

In the 9th minute, the Spaniard Fran Villalba came very close to putting the Albiverdes ahead with a right-footed shot, sending the ball just wide of the goal defended by Santiago Mele.

In the 15th minute, the central referee, with the help of VAR, disallowed a goal by forward Joaqu铆n Moxica for offside.

After a collision between Ezequiel Bullaude and goalkeeper Mele, defender Emmanuel Echeverr铆a took advantage of the loose ball to push it into the back of the net, giving the Guerreros the lead in the 43rd minute.

In added time, Bullaude was once again a key player, this time assisting Aldo L贸pez, who connected with the ball from the six-yard box with a spectacular scissor kick to extend Santos' lead.

The first substitution window for the Verdiblancos came in the 67th minute, with Luis 脕ngel G贸mez coming on for Fran Villalba.

Minutes later, the third goal for the Laguneros arrived. The Argentine Ezequiel Bullaude set up Lucas di Yorio, who, after a feint, struck with his left foot to seal the final score.

Subsequently, Carlos Gruezo returned to action, replacing Salvador Mariscal. In the same substitution window, Diego Medina came on for Aldo L贸pez.

Finally, Cristian D谩jome and Tahiel Jim茅nez entered the match, replacing Ezequiel Bullaude and Lucas di Yorio.

The team led by Omar Tapia delivered a complete performance tonight at Estadio Corona, showing offensive efficiency and defensive solidity, which allowed them to keep a clean sheet.
