THE WARRIORS CLOSE THEIR PREPARATION TOUR WITH A VICTORY

The Warriors concluded their preparation tour through central Mexico with a 3-1 victory over Querétaro, in a match held this morning at the Centro Gallo de Alto Rendimiento facilities, as part of their preseason ahead of the Apertura 2026 Tournament.

The team from Laguna displayed positive collective performance throughout the match, reflecting the work done in recent weeks on the scoreboard. The green-and-white goals were scored by Ariatna Dorantes, Vivian Ikechukwu, and Yessenia Novella.

The starting lineup chosen by coach Jhonathan Lazcano consisted of Tabatha Rivas; Anahí Gómez, Sarina Villa, Sasha Pickard, and Carol Soto; Ivonne González, Karen de León, Doménica Rodríguez, and Ariatna Dorantes; Sandra Nabweteme and Samantha Calvillo.

With this result, the Warriors closed their preparation tour on a positive note, after drawing 1-1 against Cruz Azul, defeating Atlante 1-0, and overcoming Querétaro 3-1, continuing their fine-tuning ahead of the start of the Apertura 2026 Tournament.

The squad will immediately return to the Comarca Lagunera to continue their preparation at the Territorio Santos Modelo facilities in the coming days.

In addition to the results achieved, the tour represented a valuable opportunity to strengthen group dynamics and advance the integration of the new additions to the squad. Ahead of the Apertura 2026 Tournament, Santos Laguna Femenil has added Fernanda Soto, Ariatna Dorantes, Ahtziri Méndez, Ivonne González, Karen de León, Gineva López, Maried Valle, Sarina Villa, Laveni Vaka, and Amaya Arias.
