With an eye on the start of the Apertura 2026 Tournament, the Guerreras will resume their training this afternoon at Territorio Santos Modelo, kicking off their final week of preparation ahead of their debut in the Women's League against América.
Led by Jhonathan Lazcano, they enter this week after completing an intense and productive preseason, which included work both in the Lagunero region and in the center of the country, where they played a series of preparation matches that allowed them to strengthen their collective performance and fine-tune the final football details.
During this phase, the albiverde team drew 1-1 against Cruz Azul, secured a narrow victory over Atlante, and defeated Querétaro 3-1, before concluding their preparation against Rayadas, where they fell by a score of 1-0.
The Guerreras will train from Tuesday to Saturday in evening sessions at their headquarters. Subsequently, on Sunday, they will wrap up their preparation with an afternoon training session at Estadio Corona, where they will make the final adjustments ahead of their first match of the tournament.
Guerreras and Águilas will face off this Monday at 7:00 PM on the field of Estadio Corona, in a match that will mark the Guerreras' debut in the Apertura 2026 Tournament and will conclude the activity of matchday 1 of the Women's League.
