Santos Laguna defender Sarina Villa was called up by the El Salvador National Team to compete in the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026.
The Salvadoran team will begin its participation on July 29 facing the Dominican Republic. Subsequently, on July 31, they will play against Venezuela, and they will close the Group Stage on August 2 with the match against Costa Rica.
Sarina, a reinforcement for the Guerreras for the current Apertura 2026 Tournament, was born on June 1, 2006, in Bellevue, Washington, United States. The central defender began her development in youth soccer in the United States, later continuing her career with the teams of the University of Texas and the University of Indiana.
With Sarina Villa's call-up, Club Santos Laguna will have representation in the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026. The Salvadoran footballer joins Guerreros Geovanni Pérez and Tahiel Jiménez, who were also called up by the Mexico U-23 National Team to compete in the tournament.
