Goalkeeper Kathya Mendoza received a call-up to the Ecuador Women's National Team to play in two matches corresponding to the CONMEBOL Nations League.

The "Tri" will face Paraguay on Friday, April 10, in the city of Asunción. Subsequently, on Saturday, April 18, they will host Peru in Quito.

Kathya, 24 years old, is experiencing her first tournament as a Guerrera, in which she has played 14 matches, accumulating 1,260 minutes of play. During this period, she has recorded 54 saves and two clean sheets, in addition to ranking as the fifth goalkeeper with the highest number of successful foot clearances, with a total of 10.

This marks Kathya's second call-up to the National Team, after being summoned last March to play two preparation matches in the Ecuadorian capital.
