Under-19 Warriors score in their visit to La Bella Airosa
Santos Laguna Under-19 earned a point in Hidalgo territory after drawing in their matchday 14 clash against Pachuca, in a game that was filled with excitement, particularly in the second half.
During the first half, the Warriors showed solidity in their defensive zone, with goalkeeper Matías Velázquez standing out as a key player in keeping a clean sheet and allowing the team to go into halftime without conceding.
In the second half, the green-and-white team opted for a more offensive approach, creating danger from the very first moments. In the opening play, Axel Gaytán came close to opening the scoring with a shot that hit the crossbar.
The persistence paid off in the 50th minute when Alex Valencia appeared to put the Warriors ahead. However, minutes later, the Tuzos equalized the match from the penalty spot. Santos responded immediately, once again through Alex Valencia, who scored his second goal and secured his position at the top of the Individual Scoring Table with 13 goals.
In the final third of the match, Pachuca managed to equalize, resulting in a final draw.
