• With this call-up, Santos Laguna adds 11 Warrior Selections in its various categories during the first quarter of 2026.

The Mexican U-23 National Team announced its roster for the training camp that will take place at the facilities of the High-Performance Center of the Mexican Football Federation, in Mexico City, from March 22 to 30, with the presence of Santos defender Geovanni Pérez.

During this training period, the national team will play two preparation matches, facing Pumas at the Cantera facilities in the nation's capital, as well as Toluca U-21 at the FMF's CAR fields.

“Gio” joined Santos Laguna in the Apertura 2021 Tournament, starting his journey in the Youth Academy and progressing through the different categories of the Warrior Academy until making his debut with the First Team in Apertura 2024.
