THE WARRIORS WITHOUT FORTUNE IN BORDER TERRITORY
As part of the activity for matchday 13 of the 2026 Clausura Tournament, the Guerreras visited the field of the Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez to face Bravas, with whom they fell by a score of 2-0.
The first dangerous play for the Laguneras came in the 14th minute, after a deep ball down the flank sent by Anahí Gómez to Vivian Ikechukwu, who finished the action with a powerful right-footed shot that went close to the opponent's goal.
However, the home team managed to open the scoring in the 18th minute with a goal by Aisha Solórzano, with the forward herself extending the lead ten minutes later, taking a 2-0 lead into halftime.
At the start of the second half, coach Jhonathan Lazcano sought greater depth in the attack with the inclusion of U-16 youth national team player Renata Ramírez, which allowed the Guerreras to take greater control of the ball and push forward.
The Laguneras maintained this approach, and in the 64th minute, Sandra Nabweteme entered the game, returning to action after overcoming a left leg injury. Later, in the 84th minute, Marianne Martínez and Mayra Santana joined the match; however, the Guerreras were unable to make their mark on the scoreboard.
The next match for the Alboverdes will be against Atlético de San Luis next Saturday at the Corona.
