Club Santos Laguna announces the permanent addition of forward Eduardo Daniel Aguirre Lara to the First Team of the Guerreros.

“El Mudo” was born on August 3, 1998, in San Pedro, Coahuila, and is 27 years old.

He began his training process in the Cantera Guerrera in the Under-15 category, completing all his development in the institution's youth divisions, as well as in the Liga de Expansión MX with TM Futbol Club. At the youth level, Aguirre stood out with the Cantera Guerrera, becoming champion in the Under-20 category.

He made his Liga MX debut in the Clausura 2019 Tournament. During his first stint with Santos Laguna, he played 108 Liga MX matches with the First Team and was part of the squad that achieved the runner-up position in the GUARD1ANES 2021 Tournament.

Subsequently, he represented Atlas FC from the Apertura 2023 Tournament to the Clausura 2026, during which he accumulated 88 appearances as a Rojinegro.

On the international stage, he represented Mexico in the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2015, the FIFA U-20 World Cup South Korea 2017, and the Maurice Revello Tournament 2018. Additionally, he was part of the Mexican National Team that won the Bronze Medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

His football growth led him to debut with the Mexican Senior National Team on October 27, 2021, under the technical direction of Gerardo Martino, in a friendly match against Ecuador.

Eduardo Aguirre will begin a new chapter defending the colors of Santos Laguna, aiming to contribute his experience, identity, and commitment.
