ECHILVESTRE CALLED UP TO THE MEXICAN U-20 NATIONAL TEAM
The Mexican U-20 National Team announced its roster for a training microcycle at the facilities of the Mexican Football Federation, which includes Santos academy player Juan Carlos Echilvestre.
As part of their training camp, El Tri will play two friendly matches against their Costa Rican counterparts, games that will serve to assess the team's competitive level against a regional rival.
The matches will take place at the FMF facilities in Toluca, according to the following schedule:
- Friday, March 27 | 10:00 AM (CM)
- Monday, March 30 | 10:00 AM (CM)
Juan Carlos Echilvestre, a full-back from the city of Lerdo, began his journey in the Club's Youth Academy during the Apertura 2021 Tournament, progressing through all the lower categories until making his debut with the First Team in the current Clausura 2026, entering during matchday 9 against Cruz Azul.
