The goalkeeper of Santos Laguna, Carlos Acevedo, participated this afternoon in the MLS All-Star Game 2026, starting and playing the first 45 minutes of the match between the Liga MX All-Star Team and the Major League Soccer representative team.

The match took place at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, and ended with a victory for the MLS team.

With this performance, the albiverde goalkeeper marked his second appearance in the All-Star Game, after being part of the 2022 edition.

After fulfilling this commitment, Carlos Acevedo will immediately rejoin the Santos Laguna camp to integrate into the team's preparation for the match against América, corresponding to Matchday 3 of the Apertura 2026 Tournament, which will be played this Sunday at the Estadio Banorte.
