The goalkeeper of Club Santos Laguna, Carlos Acevedo, participated tonight in the preparation match between the Mexico National Team and their counterpart from Ghana, held at the Cuauhtémoc Stadium in Puebla.

The Guerrero youth player entered the field for the second half, replacing Raúl Rangel, playing the closing minutes of the match in which the Mexican team won 2-0 as part of their preparation for the 2026 World Cup, which will begin on June 11.

It is worth noting that Acevedo began training with El Tricolor on May 6 at the High-Performance Center of the Mexican Football Federation.

The next match for the Mexican National Team will be on Saturday, May 30, against Australia, in a friendly game to be held at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
