CARLOS ACEVEDO CALLED UP TO THE LIGA MX ALL-STAR TEAM

The goalkeeper of Santos Laguna, Carlos Acevedo, has been called up to join the Liga MX All-Star Team, which will face the Major League Soccer representative in the MLS All-Star Game 2026.

The match will take place next Wednesday, July 29, at the Bank of America Stadium, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, where some of the top figures of Mexican and American soccer will come together.

The Liga BBVA MX squad will be led by Antonio Mohamed and composed of 24 players from 10 different clubs, including the Warriors' goalkeeper.

This will be the second time Carlos Acevedo participates in the All-Star Game, after being called up for the 2022 edition.

The albiverde goalkeeper arrives at this event after being part of the Mexican National Team that competed in the 2026 World Cup. Additionally, at the start of the Apertura 2026 Tournament, he stands as the leader in saves, with a total of 10 interventions in the first two matchdays.
