YOUTH ACADEMY WARRIOR SCORES IN TRICOLOR U-16 VICTORY
The Mexican U-16 National Team achieved its first victory in the Montaigu Tournament, held in France, after defeating Portugal 3-1 in their second match of this international competition.
In this match, Santos academy player Renata Ramírez logged playing minutes and contributed with the third goal for El Tri, scored in the 84th minute of regular time.
It is worth noting that Renata also participated in Mexico's debut in the tournament against Japan, coming on as a substitute in the second half during the loss to the Asian team.
El Tri's next match will be tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. (CT), when they face China.
