The distribution of toys and stuffed animals from Guerretón 2026 has begun.
After the emotional experience during the match against Rayados, which marked the conclusion of the 2026 edition of the Guerretón, the most fun donation event in football, and where Santos fans joined the traditional rain of stuffed animals and toys, the distribution of these donations began in various sectors of the Comarca Lagunera.
It is worth remembering that, in this thirteenth edition, thanks to the participation of fans, sponsors, allies, and commercial partners, a total of 4,472 toys and stuffed animals were collected.
Throughout its 13 editions, this initiative has benefited various associations in the region, such as: CRIT Durango; DIF of Coahuila, Torreón, Gómez Palacio, Lerdo, and Matamoros; Instituto Mano Amiga; Instituto Hermanos Martín Borque (formerly EduSer); Instituto Lagunero de Audición y Lenguaje; Cáritas de Gómez Palacio; Ciudad de los Niños; Banco de Alimentos de Torreón, among others.
The first donations of the 2026 edition were allocated to DIF Coahuila and DIF Gómez Palacio, which in turn will channel the support to associations such as: Salvation Army, Hogar de Niños La Fe, Salvemos Héroes, Hogar Refugio del Monte Sion, Casa para Niñas Elena Domené, Casa del Niño, Casa Paterna Divina Providencia, Casa Hogar Abrázame, Comedor Emmanuel Santa Sofía, Ciudad de los Niños, Espíritu que Danza, PAMDY, Getsemaní Sembrando en un Mismo Sentir, Club de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes, among others.
In the coming days, donations will continue to be delivered to schools and associations in vulnerable situations.
It should be noted that, in addition to the donation of stuffed animals and toys, the financial collection from this edition will support the community impact project Polígono Ábaco, whose goal is to equip a kitchen in a kindergarten located in a vulnerable area of the region, with the aim of providing meals to preschool children, thereby contributing to their development and the well-being of their families.
