The Mexico U-20 National Team played its second match in the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship, securing consecutive victories with a 2-0 win over Costa Rica, featuring participation from the Guerreros players.

Full-back Juan Carlos Echilvestre started as a starter and contributed to the Tricolor achieving its second consecutive match without conceding a goal.

Meanwhile, Sahiel Cedillo came on as a substitute in the 75th minute to strengthen the Mexican midfield, while Luis Ángel Gómez remained on the bench as an option for coach Alex Diego.
