THREE WARRIOR ACADEMY PLAYERS WILL REPORT WITH THE MEXICAN U-20 NATIONAL TEAM FOR THE REVELATIONS CUP
As part of the FIFA Date in June, the Mexico U-20 National Team will hold a training camp in the city of Veracruz from Sunday, May 31 to Tuesday, June 9, during which they will compete in the Revelations Cup. In this tournament, they will face Japan on June 5 and Piratas FC on Monday, June 8 at the Luis Pirata Fuente Stadium, with the participation of Canteranos Guerreros players Juan Carlos Echilvestre, Sahiel Cedillo, and Luis 脕ngel G贸mez.
Juan Carlos, a left-back defender from the Comarca Lagunera, has been part of the verdiblancas ranks since the Apertura 2021 Tournament, progressing from the U-14 category to the U-23. He made his First Division debut in the recently concluded Clausura 2026 Tournament, coming on as a substitute in the match corresponding to Matchday 7 against Cruz Azul.
Meanwhile, Sahiel, a midfielder from Saltillo, Coahuila, also joined the albiverde institution during the Apertura 2021 Tournament, advancing through all the youth categories from U-14 until making his debut on Matchday 13 of the CL26, starting in the draw against Am茅rica.
Additionally, the Jalisco-born midfielder Luis 脕ngel G贸mez, who has extensive experience with the Cantera Guerrera, made his debut in the Clausura 2024 Tournament. In the most recent CL26, he played a total of 8 matches with the First Team, 3 of them as a starter.
