Santos Laguna players Fran Villalba, Tahiel Jiménez, and Mauricio Cuevas were included in the Ideal XI of Matchday 11 of the 2026 Apertura Tournament, following their outstanding performance in the albiverde victory against Atlético de San Luis at the Libertad Financiera Stadium.

Spanish midfielder Fran Villalba once again stood out for his consistency and level of play, receiving this recognition for the third consecutive matchday, solidifying himself as one of the most important players for the santista team during this stage of the championship.

Meanwhile, forward Tahiel Jiménez was one of the standout figures in the Guerreros' victory in San Luis Potosí, scoring a brace that decisively contributed to the result.

Additionally, Mauricio Cuevas played an important role in Santos Laguna's second goal, creating the rebound that Jiménez capitalized on to complete his brace. The right-back continues to establish himself in that position within the albiverde system.
