As part of the relationship between Santos Laguna and Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Laguna, the Escape Room Club Santos Laguna was inaugurated this Tuesday, a new space that invites students to learn, collaborate, and make decisions through a unique experience.
The initiative is part of the Leadership and Managerial Skills Laboratory of the Business School at Tec de Monterrey, a space designed for students to apply various tools and concepts related to leadership, communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, and decision-making.
Through experiential learning, the Laboratory features activities such as the Game Room, where students participate in negotiation and creativity games to apply theoretical concepts in a controlled environment, as well as an Escape Room, where they must solve a series of puzzles against the clock within a couple of rooms.
In this latter activity, participants test their ability to make decisions, collaborate with teammates, solve problems, and set goals systematically.
Specifically, at Campus Laguna, the Escape Room was developed in collaboration with Santos Laguna, drawing inspiration from the values, history, and culture of the Club to transform the space into an immersive experience that allows students to connect with the Santos institution in a unique way.
Beyond the classroom activity, this project aims to generate visibility, experiences, and new opportunities for connection between Santos Laguna, Tecnológico de Monterrey, its students, fans, and the Laguna community.
The inauguration event was attended by Aleco Irarragorri Kalb, President of Santos Laguna, who participated in the program along with representatives from Tecnológico de Monterrey and the areas involved in the development of this initiative.
Regarding the importance of involving new generations in such projects, Alejandro Irarragorri Kalb stated:
“We definitely need to invite young people to participate in projects. I believe the world belongs to the youth, and we must work with them. We need to learn, approach, and listen to young people because they are the future.”
He also highlighted the role of Tecnológico de Monterrey in shaping new generations and the possibility of complementing that process with the experience of Santos Laguna:
“The great professors at Tec de Monterrey shape leaders and push them to bring out their best version. We can contribute to this by offering another perspective and our experience. If you are going to shape the best leaders in the country and the world, it is important to add all these perspectives.”
Meanwhile, Agustín Hernández, Director of Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Laguna, emphasized the importance of continuing to build joint projects and creating new experiences for students:
“For us, what has been mentioned in terms of collaboration is very important. We already have some projects in operation, where Club Santos Laguna participates as a training partner, and the fact that today we open the possibility of developing more projects between Club Santos Laguna and Tec de Monterrey represents a very important opportunity for our students.”
The collaboration between Santos Laguna and Tecnológico de Monterrey stems from a shared vision: to inspire, develop, and connect the new generations of La Laguna, creating spaces where learning goes beyond the traditional and where leadership, teamwork, and a sense of community are experienced in a practical way.
With the opening of the Escape Room Club Santos, both institutions take a new step in this relationship, bringing sports, education, and regional identity closer together through an experience designed for learning by doing, socializing, and facing new challenges together.
