"THE SUPPORT OF THE WARRIORS WITHOUT BORDERS WILL BE VERY IMPORTANT": LIA ROMERO
• Lia, in her 8th tournament as a Warrior, has participated in 11 matches of the CL26, accumulating 535 minutes of play.
The Warriors declare themselves ready to face their next challenge, where they will visit the border to take on Bravas de Juárez this Saturday at 5:00 PM, at the Benito Juárez Olympic Stadium field.
Regarding this commitment, midfielder Lia Romero shared:
“We expect a very intense match. We know that Bravas is a strong team at home, but we also have our strengths. It will be a very contested game, and we are prepared to compete at the highest level. The key will be to stay organized, capitalize on the opportunities we create, and never lower the intensity. If we do things well as we have worked on, we can achieve a good result.”
About the support of the Santos fans in border territory, she commented:
“The support of the Warriors Without Borders in Ciudad Juárez will be very important. You can always feel it when the fans are present; it motivates us a lot to know that there are people supporting us even away from home, and that gives you an extra boost on the field. To the fans, we say to keep trusting in us; we are going to give everything on the field to bring them joy. We are very grateful for their support and hope to feel it this Saturday.”
She also recalled the reception the team had months ago during a preparation match in Chihuahua territory:
“That visit to Chihuahua territory was a very beautiful experience; we felt very supported. Those kinds of moments make you value the fans a lot and motivate you to keep giving your best in every match.”
