As part of the international activity for the FIFA Date, Santos Laguna trained this Wednesday at Territorio Santos Modelo, advancing in their preparation for the match against América, corresponding to matchday 13 of the Clausura 2026 Tournament.

The match against the Águilas will take place next Saturday, April 4, at 9:00 PM at Estadio Corona.

This afternoon's session focused on physical and technical-specific work, with a strong emphasis on intensity, as part of the planning by the Santos team for their next match.

It is worth noting that goalkeeper Carlos Acevedo, called up by the Mexico National Team, as well as defenders Geovanni Pérez (Mexico U-23 National Team) and Juan Carlos Echilvestre (Mexico U-20 National Team), are absent from the albiverde camp due to their commitments with their respective national teams.

These three players are part of the seven Club Santos Laguna players called up to national teams during the month of March, as well as the eleven players who have been considered so far in 2026.

The Guerreros will face this match, their second consecutive home game, after defeating Puebla FC by a score of 2-1, with goals from Ezequiel Bullaude and Aldo López.

The team led by Omar Tapia will continue their preparation this Thursday with double sessions, while on Friday and Saturday they will train in the morning at their headquarters, TSM.
