Santos Laguna U-21 drew 0-0 against their counterpart from América in a match corresponding to Matchday 3 of the Apertura 2026 Tournament, held on Sunday morning at the Coapa facilities in the capital of the country.

The team led by Carlos Arturo Cruz showed discipline throughout the match, creating the clearest goal opportunities; however, they were unable to reflect their dominance on the scoreboard.

At the end of regulation time, the Warriors secured the extra point by winning the penalty shootout, with goalkeeper Sergio Barajas standing out by keeping his goal unbeaten, stopping the attempts of the azulcrema team from the penalty spot.

With this result, Santos Laguna U-21 reached seven points, placing themselves in the top positions of the table after the first three matchdays of the Apertura 2026 Tournament.
