• Santos Laguna will seek their first Liga MX title in the Under-19 category.

Santos Laguna Under-19 showed character and resilience to come from behind and secure their spot in the Grand Final of the Clausura 2026 Tournament. The Warriors defeated Toluca FC with a score of 3-2 in the second leg of the Semifinals, achieving an aggregate score of 5-4, in a match played this morning at the Metepec facilities.

The home team took the lead in the 16th minute; however, the albiverde response came in the 26th minute, when defender Cristian Martínez equalized the score.

Subsequently, forward Magnus López was once again decisive for the Laguneros, scoring a brace in the 33rd and 63rd minutes, just as he did in the first leg.

Toluca FC closed the gap in the 51st minute, but the team led by Agustín Herrera maintained their advantage to secure their place in the championship final.

With this result, Santos Laguna Under-19 awaits the winner of the matchup between América and Tijuana to determine their opponent in the Clausura 2026 Final.
