The First Team of Santos Laguna began this morning their preparation for the match against Toluca FC, corresponding to matchday 9 of the Apertura 2026 Tournament.

Under the guidance of Renato Paiva, the team reported early at Territorio Santos Modelo, resuming activities after a recovery day following their 2-1 victory over FC Juárez.

Despite achieving their first victory of the tournament, the Warriors remain fully focused and aware of the importance of starting a positive streak that will allow them to climb positions in the standings.

During Tuesday's practice, the players who had the most participation in last weekend's match performed regenerative work on the field, while the rest of the squad carried out compensatory work, also on the pitch.

It will be a long week that the Lagunero team will use to continue working on different aspects, aiming to reach their best version and come out victorious from the State of Mexico.

As part of the weekly agenda, media attention will take place next Thursday, ahead of the match against the Red Devils.

Preparation will continue with morning sessions on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

On the other hand, as part of the benefits for the Guerreros Subscribers, a group of them attended Territorio Santos Modelo this morning to watch the First Team's training. At the end of the session, they interacted with the albiverde players, took photos, and received autographs.

Santos Laguna will visit Toluca FC this Sunday, September 20, at 6:00 p.m., at the Nemesio Diez Stadium.
