Santos Laguna, through its social responsibility program Guerreros de Corazón and in collaboration with Ganar Sirviendo, officially presented the 13th edition of Guerretón, an initiative that promotes solidarity and support for children in vulnerable situations in the Comarca Lagunera.

The traditional rain of stuffed animals and toys for Guerretón 2026 will take place next Sunday, April 26, at the Estadio Corona, during the match between Santos Laguna and Rayados.

During his speech, Alejandro Irarragorri Kalb highlighted that this initiative reflects the essence of the Club both on and off the field, emphasizing that over 12 editions, more than 121,000 toys have been collected, benefiting various associations and institutions in the region, in addition to the establishment of four playrooms in the Comarca Lagunera.

For her part, Mariana Alvídrez detailed that, in addition to the toy collection, since 2024 Guerretón has evolved to include the collection of monetary donations, aimed at social impact projects that contribute to the comprehensive development of children, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

In this regard, Silvia Martínez emphasized the importance of collaboration between organizations, highlighting that this edition will promote a community project focused on the well-being of children by strengthening spaces that contribute to their development.
