SANTOS DEBUTS WITH A VICTORY IN THE NATIONAL UNDER-14 YOUTH TOURNAMENT

The Guerrera Academy started off on the right foot in their participation in the Liga MX U-14 National Youth Tournament, after defeating Atlético La Paz by a score of 1-0 this Friday at the facilities of the Mexican Football Federation.

In the match, played in two 30-minute halves, the Warriors' goal came from high pressing. Midfielder Santiago Meza stole the ball after a goal kick and, from the edge of the box, scored with a powerful right-footed shot in the 48th minute of regular time.

In this way, the team led by Christian Pérez earned their first three points, placing them at the top of Group 4.

The next match for the albiverdes will be tomorrow at 1:00 PM, when they face Chivas in the second round.
