• Ariatna, originally from Mexico City, was born on March 11, 2003, and plays as a forward. Her most recent stint in the Liga MX Femenil was with Pumas, a club she was part of during the Apertura 2025 and Clausura 2026 tournaments. Additionally, she was a member of the Mexican U-15 National Team. In this new chapter as a Guerrera, she wears the number 14.
The Guerreras continue their preparation for their match corresponding to Matchday 2 of the Apertura 2026 Tournament of the Liga Femenil, where they will visit Querétaro this Saturday at 5:00 PM at the Estadio Corregidora.
Before this match, Santos' new signing Ariatna Dorantes shared her thoughts on her first days as a Guerrera, highlighting the trust she has received from the Club and the commitment she has found within the team.
“I am very grateful to the institution and the coach for trusting me. I am very happy to take advantage of this opportunity to represent Santos. I know it is a great institution with excellent facilities, and I am very excited. It is an honor to defend this jersey. The group that makes up the club—my teammates, the coaching staff, and everyone who is part of the institution—conveys a lot of commitment; we know we are here for great things.”
Motivation to join the Guerreras
“The commitment perceived from everyone who is part of this institution and the opportunity to belong to a club that, over time, has shown constant growth within the Liga Femenil were very important factors for me. I also want to contribute my part to ensure that growth continues.”
Match against Querétaro
“We know that Querétaro is a good opponent and has prepared well, but we also had a good preseason. We are very clear about our objectives and know our strengths. We want to go out and win, secure our first three points, and start adding from the beginning of the tournament.”
The Guerreras will continue their preparation this afternoon and will later travel to Querétaro, where they will wrap up their preparations on Friday with a light activation session at their team hotel, ahead of the match against Gallos Femenil.
