Santos Laguna Femenil continues to strengthen its squad in the Apertura 2026 Tournament with the addition of Nayeli Isela Díaz Díaz, a soccer player who plays as a winger and has experience in the Women's League and various National Team processes.

Born on October 10, 2001, in Los Angeles, California, Díaz began her career in the Women's League with Pachuca, a club she was part of from 2023 to 2025.

With the Tuzas, the player had a successful period, winning the Clausura Tournament and Campeón de Campeonas titles in 2025. Later, in 2026, she represented Pumas before joining the Guerreras for the current competition.

EXPERIENCE WITH NATIONAL TEAMS

Internationally, Nayeli Díaz has been part of various Mexican National Team processes, representing the country in the U-17, U-20, and Senior categories.

One of the main achievements of her career came with the Mexican U-17 National Team, with which she earned the runner-up position in the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

With her addition, Santos Laguna Femenil gains another offensive option, bringing speed, creativity, and experience to the team led by Jhonathan Lazcano.
