The Mexican U-16 National Team concluded its participation in the Montaigu Tournament in France, securing third place after defeating Portugal 1-0.

Throughout this experience on French soil, Santos academy player Renata Ramírez gained valuable learning in her development process by competing internationally against various national teams.

The 15-year-old player from Laguna saw minutes against Japan, Portugal, and China, bringing dynamism to the Aztec midfield and contributing a goal during the group stage match against the Portuguese team.

Renata Ramírez is one of four Guerreras players who have been called up to the National Team in 2026. Also noteworthy are Kathya Mendoza and Domenica Rodríguez with Ecuador's senior team, as well as Ximena Ramírez with the U-17 category.

In the current Clausura 2026, Renata has been active with both the U-19 team and the First Team of Santos Laguna, accumulating over 450 minutes of play combined.
