Santos Laguna U-21 returned to action this morning at Territorio Santos Modelo, drawing 1-1 against their counterpart from FC Juárez in a match corresponding to matchday 8 of the Apertura 2026 Tournament.

The midfielder from Saltillo, Sahiel Cedillo, who has had minutes with the Warriors' First Team, scored the goal for the green-and-white team in the 25th minute.

In the 80th minute, the visiting team found the back of the net to equalize the match.

Under the guidance of Carlos Arturo Cruz, the team reached 12 points, temporarily placing them in eighth position on the table.

For matchday 9, the U-21 Warriors will visit Toluca FC on September 20 at the Metepec field.
