The Guerreras declare themselves ready to face their next challenge and also to be part of Guerretón, one of the most representative social initiatives of the Club.

Guerretón is a collection of toys, stuffed animals, and balls for Children's Day, which are donated to boys and girls in the Comarca Lagunera who are in various vulnerable situations.

As part of matchday 17 of the Clausura 2026 Tournament, where the Guerreras will face Querétaro this Saturday at 5:00 PM, Santos fans will be able to join the most fun donation in football by exchanging a stuffed animal or toy for a ticket at the box office for this match, thus contributing to bringing joy to the children of the region (promotion limited to one stuffed animal per person).

In this context, player Lia Romero shared her experience of being part of this activity:

“I really like this club initiative; personally, it motivates and inspires me. I had never experienced anything like this, and when I came to Santos and participated in my first Guerretón, it was very special to see how people contribute their little bit. It fills me with joy to see how, through football, we can make an impact on the community.”

She also highlighted the atmosphere created during the traditional teddy bear toss:

“The teddy bear toss is amazing. I’ve experienced it from the field, and it’s astonishing; you don’t expect the number of stuffed animals that fall. Since I joined this club, I love participating in this activity.”

Finally, the footballer extended an invitation to the fans to join this cause:

“To the fans, I want to say that the doors are open for you to join with your donation at the Guerreras match, closing the tournament alongside all the boys and girls of the Comarca. Likewise, I invite you to support Santos this Sunday in this beautiful initiative.”
