The First Team of Santos Laguna trained on Thursday morning on the field of Estadio Corona, at Territorio Santos Modelo, as part of their preparation for the match against América, corresponding to matchday 13 of the Clausura 2026 Tournament.

During the session, the verdiblanco squad held an inter-squad match, all under the supervision of Head Coach Omar Tapia and his Technical Staff, focused on fine-tuning details ahead of the upcoming match.

It is worth noting that the Warriors have taken advantage of the break in Liga MX due to the FIFA Date to strengthen various aspects of the team, aiming to arrive in the best possible condition for the clash against the Águilas.

The match between Santos Laguna and América will take place this Saturday at 9:10 PM at the Corona.

The Santos squad will continue their preparation this Thursday with a morning training session, while on Friday they will train in the afternoon, before finalizing preparations for their commitment this Saturday.

As for goalkeeper Carlos Acevedo, he has concluded his training camp with the Mexican National Team, which included a couple of preparation matches, and will soon rejoin the Santos squad.
