JUAN CARLOS ECHILVESTRE CONCLUDES TRAINING CAMP WITH THE UNDER-20 TRICOLOR
The Santos academy player Juan Carlos Echilvestre concluded his participation in the training camp of the Mexican U-20 National Team, corresponding to a microcycle of work carried out at the facilities of the Mexican Football Federation in Toluca, under the direction of coach Alex Diego.
During this period, in addition to training sessions, El Tri played two preparation matches against their Costa Rican counterparts.
In the first match, Juan Carlos was part of the starting XI, playing the entire game in the 1-0 victory for the Mexican team.
For the second match against the Costa Ricans, Echilvestre came on in the second half, providing an assist for Juan Sigala to score the goal that secured the victory, once again with a 1-0 scoreline.
Juan Carlos Echilvestre, a full-back from Lerdo, Durango, began his journey in the Club's Youth Academy during the Apertura 2021 Tournament, progressing through all the youth categories until making his debut with the First Team in the current Clausura 2026, coming on during matchday 9 against Cruz Azul.
