Santos Laguna defender Geovanni Pérez has been called up by the Mexico U-23 National Team to participate in the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026.

The verdiblanco footballer will join the national team this Thursday to begin his training camp at the High-Performance Center of the Mexican Football Federation in Mexico City. Subsequently, on July 26, he will travel with the rest of the delegation to the Dominican Republic, the host country of the competition.

It is worth noting that in the U-23 Tricolor team, led by Eduardo Arce, Santos attacker Tahiel Jiménez is also included, who will likewise represent Santos Laguna in this international event.
