The Spanish midfielder Fran Villalba was included for the second consecutive matchday in the Best XI of Liga MX, following his performance in Santos Laguna's 1-0 victory over Pachuca, corresponding to matchday 10 of the Apertura 2026 Tournament.

Villalba was responsible for scoring the albiverde's winning goal against the Tuzos, converting from the penalty spot, thus achieving his second consecutive goal in the championship.

In this way, the Santos player adds his second consecutive appearance in the Best XI of the matchday, after having been part of this distinction following Santos Laguna's victory over Toluca FC at the Nemesio Diez Stadium on matchday 9.

The recognition comes at a positive moment for the Guerreros, who have strung together three victories against FC Juárez, Toluca FC, and Pachuca, respectively.

Santos Laguna continues their preparation at Territorio Santos Modelo during the break for the FIFA Date, with their sights set on the resumption of the Apertura 2026.
