ESTEBAN LOZANO JOINS THE FIRST TEAM OF SANTOS LAGUNA

Club Santos Laguna announces the addition of Mexican forward Esteban Lozano Solana to the First Team of the Guerreros, on a temporary transfer with a purchase option.

Born on March 10, 2003, in the city of Puebla, Esteban plays as a forward and stands out for his presence in the box, aerial play, and mobility in the offensive zone.

The 23-year-old attacker arrives with the willingness to work and compete, aiming to contribute to the group and help achieve the goals of the verdiblanco team.

Esteban completed his development process in the Youth Academy of Club América, eventually reaching the First Team, with which he debuted in Liga MX on February 4, 2023.

In the 2023-2024 season, he was loaned to Sporting Atlético, a subsidiary of Real Sporting de Gijón in Spain. During this campaign, he played 19 matches and scored eight goals with the Asturian team. Additionally, he participated with the First Team of Real Sporting, gaining minutes in Spain's Second Division and the Copa del Rey.

For the 2024-2025 season, Lozano continued on loan with Sporting Atlético; he participated in 15 matches and scored five goals.

Subsequently, he wore the colors of Puebla FC during the Apertura 2025 and Clausura 2026 tournaments before returning to Club América.

Regarding his achievements, the forward holds the titles of the Apertura 2024 Tournament and the 2024 Liga MX Super Cup, both won with the América team.

At the international level, Esteban Lozano has been part of the Mexican National Team process in various youth categories, including the U-20 and U-23 teams.
